About the Books
Is Born from Babel the first in a series?
Yes.  Born from Babel is the first book in a seven part series.  The sequel is called The Gospel of The Judas.

How did you come up with the idea for the book series?
The short version is this.  When I was 10 years old, I had this insane recurring nightmare (which I still have to this day).  There were six people on the shore of a lake defending a group of individuals from these grossly deformed humanoids.  I was in a boat rowing towards the shore as fast as I could to join them.  The lake was surrounded by trees and the sky was literally on fire.  Flames rained down, igniting the trees and singeing my clothes.  Once I got to the shore, I joined the other six people and fought off the demons.  That was the point in the dream where I felt a sharp object skewer my chest.  I looked down and saw a sword protruding from my left breast and turned back to see this angelic looking man with the most solemn look on his face.  I have always assumed that this was Lucifer.   It never got past that point, but I've taken that nightmare and turned into a dream.  One that I hope to share with the world one day.

Do you have the whole series planned out?
Yes.  Every brilliant detail :)  There is a tremendous amount of payoff as you read through the series.  I've even planted things in the early books that you'll have to go back and look for later as really cool Easter eggs!
Are there any other series that you're working on?
Not that I'm really working on, but I have a ton of ideas for other stories (both individual and series').  They're in a bunch of different genres and cover a plethora of issues that we face in our lives that haven't really been discussed yet.

About the audience

Do you have any sample chapters or excerpts to read for now?
The book is finished, but I won't be posting anything until I find an agent, get a publisher, etc.

Do you do interviews?
Sure!  I'm open to talking with anyone.
Can I e-mail you and ask you things/tell you my thoughts about your book/your blog?
I love to talk about ideas, thoughts, and everything of the sort.  So, yes!

Can you read my short story, novel, work in progress, or fanfiction?
If you send it, I will read it!Especially Doctor Who fanfiction.

About Me

How old are you?
I am 25.
How long have you been writing?
Well, it depends on what we're talking about.  I started screenwriting my Freshmen year of college.  I did a comic book of the story in my book from 13-18.  This whole writing a novel thing started my Senior year of college, but really kicked into gear when I was 23.

Were you on BABEL?
Yes...let's forget that and focus on the book version.
Who is your agent/your editor?
I don't have one yet...but if you know someone...
Can you help me get in touch with them?
I'll use my TARDIS and get back to you on that...my guess is probably not though...sorry :(
Will you be my facebook friend?
Uhhh...yea.  Of course I will.  I'm friends with anyone.  Hell, if you live near Philly, I'll hang out with you.
Are you on Twitter?
You betchya! ajs_BABELs
What do you look like?
I'm kind of an Adonis...I wish.  I'm just a huge nerd.
My first 5K!  Run for Your Lives!!!

Where do you get your inspiration?
I get it from everything.  Mostly the people and adventures in my life.  A lot of my ideas just formulate in my demented and twisted mind.  Lots of inspiration from Buffy, LOST, Dragonball Z, Naruto, The Bible, Dollhouse, Star Wars, and mythologies from around the world.

Are bow ties cool?
Yes. As are fezzes and stetsons.
